We're finally back and unpacked from the Nashville Market.
I took a few extra days to shop a little for the Studio and I found some pieces that are going to be perfect. I can't wait to start playing : )
As soon as we got back the painters started on the front space and it's just beautiful.
The ceilings are really high and I couldn't even stick around and watch them. Since my
swan dive off the ladder here at home and my lovely jewelry consisting of a plate and 10 screws in my arm I tend to steer clear of heights....lol
The next thing on the list is repairing some of the tin ceiling tiles. Might be calling in some favors since that requires more ladder time.
Yesterday I ordered 100 yards of burlap that will become floor to ceiling curtains.
Mom better get her sewing machine warmed up.....she's the one I call on for anything that requires machine stitching.
I'm not sure if I posted this pic or not. But I can show you the outside of the building.
No sneak peeks of the inside just yet.....but soon....really soon.
The upstairs is a little apartment that we're thinking about taking over when the tenant moves.
With a little work it would make a nice space for friends to hang out when they come and visit.
But my Mom sees it more as a party pad....lol
Either way it has potential.
Once the weather breaks I'm going to paint the door, awning and trim a really dark charcoal.
Then I just need a couple cool old urns filled with flowers on either side of the door and we'll be making some progress.
I'm working on my schedule now and I should be able to post the Grand Opening dates and a few other events soon.
Now on to more fun......

I'm looking forward to hearing from you and getting caught up on my emails and blogging.
I had to drop everything to stitch my new designs for Market. I had no clue what I was going to stitch until after New Years.....I guess better late than never.
Oh, and guess what.......I finally have my next series sketched out.
~The Houses of Berry's Chapel Road~
Each design will be a different house. Starting out the houses will be set in Spring and Summer, and as we move through we'll go into different seasons.....Autumn, Halloween & Christmas.
I can't wait to get needle to linen. This is going to be a really fun series!!!
Happy Stitching My Friends,
Smiles,
Stacy

So excited about your shop..I am hoping to make a trip to Indiana sometime this summer, so your shop will be first on my list!! I love your new designs...so happy you have new designs!!
Happy to see an update! Love your new patterns and can't wait for The Studio to open...I plan to make the trip there! The building is fab..can't wait to see more pictures.
Stacy, I hope you will add an autumn to the Hollyberry Farm series. I know there is interest in having an autumn design with lovely bittersweet and autumn colors. I do not want to leave the Haloween colors up year round. Please give me the autumn piece to complete my arrangement.

You are reminding me of my long-time dream - a little studio shop near the coast on a corner with an apartment on top! I'll be watching to live through your process until mine comes true :). Love all your new designs.
