Diving into a crazy month

Where do I begin....there are so many things happening.

Let's take it in order....
tomorrow I leave for Virginia Beach....woo hoo
My first time teaching at the R & R Retreat.
I'm so excited and a little nervous.
I really like my project and I hope everyone else does too.
The weather looks fantastic and I could use a little sun on my face.

After Virginia I'm home for a day to load up and drive up to
Wisconsin for Boxwood & Berries.
I always love seeing my friends there.
Wisconsin is beautiful in the Fall.
And I always come home with arm fulls of fabric : )

After Wisconsin I'm home for almost a week and then I jump on
a plane to Italy.
I know....can you believe it....I'm going to ITALY.
It's a dream come true.
I'm blessed to have 2 beautiful friends in Italy and I can't wait to see them.

Giulia from Giulia Punti Antichi
and
Nikki from Nikki's Creations

It's going to be the best girls trip ever!!!
And while I'm there I've been invited to go to Casa Cenina in the Tuscan countryside.
I've designed a sweet little stitchery exclusively for my Italian friends.
It will be a beautiful day.
If you would like for information about this day please contact:

And finally......I just signed the lease to open my very own studio.
OMG.....I can't believe it.
I've been thinking about it for awhile now but just needed the right space.
I've outgrown this house of ours and have been desperate for a space where I can stretch out and work.
On a trip to Taylor's favorite ice-cream shop ~Indulge~ I came across the coolest old brick storefront...and right in the window was a big For Rent sign.
It was meant to be.
It has old plaster and brick walls and a high ceiling covered in old tin.
And the back room of the studio is amazing.....old brick walls and big windows.  It will be
the perfect space to work.
It's located in Fortville, Indiana
Less than 10 minutes from the house and only a few minutes from Taylor's school.
And just a hop skip and a jump to the Northside of Indy.
I won't have access to the building until November.....which works out great because we
won't be back from Italy until the end of October.
And we'll work on it through the winter and have a Grand Opening in the early Spring.
Once we get started I'll post some pics.

This is going to be a crazy October.
I'm so excited about our Italy trip and then I get to come home and start working on my studio.
I think I've died and gone to heaven : )
Since this is going to be such a crazy month I'm going to cut our shipping off on October 15th and we'll pick up again right after Halloween.
If there's anything you need or have been thinking about please let us know so we can
get it mailed before we leave.

Happy Stitching My Friends...

Smiles,
Stacy
