First Class of the year...

My very first class of the year is coming up April 28 & 29th and I'm so excited to go back and see all of my friends at 3 Sisters Needlework in Knoxville, TN.
We'll be making a Sewing Basket, Slipper, Strawberry and Pinkeep

There are just a few openings for this class.  If you'd like to reserve your spot please contact Debi at 3 Sisters right away before it's all filled up.  I'd love to see you there.

My Grandma is going to be 95 this month and we've been planning a very special birthday party next weekend.  You'd think she was a kid again....she's so excited.  I'm in charge of the flowers and my sister is making the deserts.....if you remember Michael's graduation party she knocked it out of the ballpark.  Her deserts are amazing....and very pretty!!!  And we'll all wear our party dresses which Taylor is so excited about....she loves to glam it up.  It will be a day we all remember.

But I have had a little time to stitch....thank goodness.
I've been working on class kits and my Girls Club April Kit.....which I can't wait for you to see.  It's so sweet and completely different so I hope the group will love it.
It's a secret for now but as soon as all the kits are mailed I'll show you a pic.

It's been so beautiful here on the homestead the last few weeks.  The house is open and filled with songbird music.  And our daffodils are amazing this year.....they are all smiling and happy.  They remind me of my other Grandma and Great Grandma so much.  When I look at them I feel like they are watching me.
When I was a little girl we would go to our cabin in the woods in Autumn and plant lots of Spring bulbs.  Instead of planting them in beds or planters we would throw the bulbs and wherever they landed is where we planted them.  And then in the Spring it was always a big surprise to see where they would come up.  I remember sitting in the backseat of that big ol car with butterflies in my stomach in anticipation of seeing the flowers.  Some years those sweet little daffodils would have snow on them.....you never know in Indiana :)
I hope your life is filled with daffodils my friend.

And if you're close to Knoxville be sure to sign up for the 3 Sisters Class.....those southern girls are a riot :)

Smiles,
Stacy

Love it! I"m so excited, as we are moving back to TN the end of the month. DH is retiring from 24 years of being in the AF. We are heading back home to TN. We were in town last year about 2 weeks after your class. This time, as soon as I found out the dates and that we would be back in TN then, I called and got my name for the class. I can't wait to meet you in person.

Beautiful class offerings! Loved reading about the daffodils. I've always loved spring bulbs. My mother was an avid gardener but for some reason she never planted spring bulbs. Once we settle down somewhere I plan to plant a ton of them : )

What a beautiful design you are teaching I would have love to be there but I am a little to far away on the other side of the world (lol) maybe one day it will be a design we can buy, better still a pdf one.
Thanks for making the beginning of my day a very pleasant one.
