An update on the book

As most of you might already know, the book 'My Name is Lydia', is being reprinted.
There were a few small errors in the graphs that myself and Kansas City Star felt needed to be corrected.

This news came right after I lost Sydney and it's taken me awhile to process.
I apologize for my delay in response to this issue.

Publishing cross-stitch books is a new adventure for Kansas City Star and myself.
We will take this experience and learn from it.

The good news......the revised books are being printed and everyone that purchased a book will receive a new copy.
And the revised book will look identical to the first book.....just with the small changes to the graphs and the symbols.

If you purchased the book you will not need to send it back.

Also, it has been advertised that this book is 96 pages.  This is incorrect.
The book is actually 68 pages.  And this should still be the case in the revised book.

I thank you all from the bottom of my heart with your patience and kindness.
We will learn from this experience. And next year, when my second book is published you can
expect it to be fantastic.

Happy Stitching My Friends....

Stacy the book is an awesome accomplishment, and if you look at it from the view point of one famous scientist your just starting on your path to becoming an expert! Thanks for taking the time and trouble to share your wonderful creative patterns with thoses of us who can only stitch!

I just wanted to say how beautiful the original book is and as I sat looking through it yesterday, I still love it. I waited and waited for this one and I was so thrilled when it arrived. I am so sorry that all this happened at the same time as loosing Sidney. I am looking forward to the new book. I try to buy all of your booklets because I enjoy your patterns so much.
It will all work out, I am sure and everyone will be better because of it.

Stacy,

I am so sorry for you loss, you gave your girl a wonderful life filled with love, take comfort in that, she's waiting for you. And the book.....these things happen, it's all a learning experience, really wish it was 96 pages though!

Stacy this is a new journey and all new journeys have a few bumps along the way. The thing is to enjoy the ride and let it take you where it will. I'm very happy with my first copy of the book but I'll be just as glad to get the new one as well. Hugs to you sweet friend.

Stacy, I love the book and it is very professional of you to reprint. If we purchased at our local needlework store should we just go back there to get the replacement? So far I started on the slipper so didn't even notice there was a problem. Thanks, martyG. Stevemarty@msn.com

As I work on a book myself, it helps me so much to see a "Legend" in the business still have hurdles like this to overcome. I am sorry it came at such a bad time for you with losing Sydney right then. It reminds me to look over and over and over and then have someone else do the same all the while knowing we are human and will err. Mistakes happen and we just have to learn and keep going. The book is absolutely incredible. It has brought hours of lunch time reading pleasure to me! Can't wait for the next one.
